Full Day

7-8 Hour Trip

Spend a whole day immersed in the Wyoming wilderness on our full-day horseback rides. We’ll take you across unseen backcountry on a vast search for wildlife as you witness the awe-inspiring scenery of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

After a morning of sightseeing, we’ll head to the historic Craig Cabin for a savory grilled lunch and bask in the feeling of having history all around you. After relaxing at base camp, we’ll meander our way back to Little Jennie Ranch headquarters while we continue our adventure taking in the sights and sounds of the Gros Ventre wilderness.

Half Day

4-5 Hour Trip

If you’re looking for a quick trip into the wilderness with a splash of history, our half-day horseback rides are a perfect fit. Similar to our full-day rides, we’ll spend the first part of our trip riding on diverse terrain making our way to a perfect stopping point and vista to enjoy a sack lunch.

After the lunch break, we’ll mount up and make our way back to the Little Jennie Ranch trailhead. You’ll be able to take in the scenic views and spot elusive wildlife as we pass through mountain meadows timbered forest lands and meandering streams.

Let us take you to our secluded, 120-plus-year-old historic Craig Cabin located at our Jack Creek Camp. Complete with fire pits, a lodge room, areas for dining, and plenty of space to fan out and explore, our base camp is a paradise among the pines.

 

Dinner Horseback Ride

Are you looking for a truly unique dining experience in the Jackson Hole area? Then reserve one of our dinner horseback rides today! Our dinner rides are the perfect opportunity for visitors and locals alike to get away from the crowds and enjoy a hearty meal together. Meet us at Little Jennie Ranch before we embark on a late afternoon ride into the Gros Ventre wilderness. After we arrive at our base camp, we’ll prepare a delectable steak dinner over the fire while you take in the evening atmosphere of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Once you’re all filled up, we’ll head back and enjoy a sunset horseback ride and have you home before dark.

Jack Creek Camp is an ideal outdoor retreat and the base camp for many of our expeditions. As a National Register of Historic Places site, the famous Craig Cabin is surrounded by mature pine trees and mountain wildlife, allowing for a memorable outdoor experience.
