Full Day
5-6 Hour Trip
We have two different versions of a full day Wyoming horseback ride. Our traditional Full Day Ride takes folks into our historic camp and serves a grilled lunch. This ride is great for folks and families who want to come to see our 130-year-old historic cabin and enjoy the magnificent views and camp experience that we are known for. We serve freshly grilled lunch featuring Little Jennie Ranch beef.
Our other full day option takes folks on the trail all day and is best for a more experienced rider looking for more time in the saddle. With the full day on the trail, we provide a sack lunch and will plan on eating at a good stopping place along the way. This ride will take folks further into the Bridger-Teton National Forest to some special spots.

Half Day
3.5 Hour Trip
If you’re looking for a quick trip into the Wyoming wilderness with a splash of history, our half-day horseback rides are for you. Our Half Day Ride is perfect for folks who are looking for a shorter day in the saddle, but still want to experience the vast views and wilderness with us here at the ranch. This is a great option for a shorter day trip from Jackson Hole.
Although we don’t go to our historic cabin on a half-day ride, we will see some of the original homesteads on the ranch and provide plenty of history and information about the area. You’ll be able to take in the scenic views and spot elusive wildlife as we pass through mountain meadows, timbered forest lands, and meandering streams.
Dinner Ride
5.5-6 Hour Trip
Are you looking for a truly unique dining experience in the Jackson Hole area? Then reserve one of our dinner horseback rides today!
A private dinner ride is a perfect experience for honeymooners, families, or retreats. On our dinner rides, you will have the cowgirls and cowboys of the Little Jennie there to tell you stories or maybe even play some music. Our dinner rides are also the perfect opportunity for visitors and locals alike to get away from the crowds and enjoy a hearty meal together.
Meet us at Little Jennie Ranch before we embark on a late afternoon ride into the Gros Ventre wilderness. After we arrive at our base camp, we’ll prepare a grilled dinner over the fire while you take in the evening atmosphere of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Once you’re all filled up, we’ll head back and enjoy a sunset horseback ride and have you home before dark. The whole experience is about 5.5-6 hours.
True Cowboy Ranch Working Experience.
We are able to provide individuals or small groups (no more than three people) who are interested in a genuine working ranch experience with the opportunity to come cowboy with us for the day. Before heading out to move cattle, it’s important that guests ride with us at least once so that we can gauge whether or not they are prepared. These rides are reserved for riders who have previous experience and are up for a big day. These trips are a privilege and are permitted at the discretion of the ranch owners.

No. We match horses to your skill level and work with all abilities—from first-timers to experienced riders. Our guides will teach you what you need to know before we head out.
What's the difference between the half-day and full-day rides?
Half-Day (3.5 hours): Ride through wilderness and see original homesteads on the ranch. Great for a shorter day trip from Jackson or if you’re new to riding.
Full-Day (5-6 hours): Two options. The traditional full-day ride goes to our historic Craig Cabin for a grilled lunch. The other full-day option keeps you in the saddle all day with a packed lunch—best for more experienced riders who want to cover more ground and see remote spots in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
What's the "Expert Riding Experience with the Cowboys"?
This is for experienced riders (max 3 people) who want to actually work cattle with us. You need to ride with us at least once first so we can gauge if you’re ready. Big day in the saddle, genuine ranch work. It’s a privilege and requires ranch owner approval.
Is horseback riding good for families with kids?
Absolutely. Children must be 8+ to ride a horse.
